A uniform makes people to stand out & allows you to fit in. Wearing a uniform can also allows you to behave differently to the way you normally behave.
I never fitted in with the cool kids @ school.

It’s a role & genre that you adopt. Genre means a particular style.
It’s kind of a persona that you can put on, in Germany the call it ‘ Masken freiheit’.
My work persona is confident & chatty but I’m actually rather shy.

Putting on a uniform liberates us from the person we really are.
Talikng openly about your problems can be very liberating.
