The verb is to objectify.
It’s when we reduce people to objects. An example of this is advertising & the media & in particular the way woman have been shown.

Impossibly attractive & implausibly perfect models in movies & on TV.
Objectification can lead to issues in society such as inequality & discrimination.

It’s presenting role models, models that people supposed to aspire to.

A

Narcissism, this is a condition where you spend so much time focusing on yourself, your own looks, your own body that you stop caring about anyone else.

It’s likely to generate higher levels of narcissism, self-consciousness, becoming obsessive about your appearance.
