Ca va faire avancer le récit (la histoire, le conte), souligner (mettre en lumière/évidence) ses qualités (caractéristiques), tout en divertissant la jeunesse (les jeunes) et les passants.

NB: mettre en avant literally means put to the front', as in showcase’.

NB: moral = l’etat d’esprit.
morale = un leçon a retenir.

NB: attirant = séduisant - plus pour une personne.
Would just use attractif and attrayant for les choses.
NB: réfuter can mean both disprove and deny. dementir just means `say is lying’, no proof, more like contradict here. Infirmer is a word for show something to be false.
