NB asymptomatic, after vPVR, L->R shunt=murmur
infants-HF, vWeight
adults=pulm htn, clubbing, cyanosis
atrial septal defect (^adults)
d/t pfo = L atrium to right
crescendo decrescendo systolic murmur
emoblus risk
PDA
closes w/in weeks, machine like murmur in systole and diastole
pulm artery->aorta
s/s depends on systemic resistance
vPVR=aorta->pulm artery= pulm htn= reveresal = deoxygenated blood goes below level of subclavian artery= lower body cyanosis
r-L shunt
L side sao2<80% cyanosis present <80%
^left side workload
tetralogy of fallot
