what was the court and what was it used for?
A
rich nobles who followed her around her many places. nobles paid to be there as they saw it worth it as they could be close to the queen even though it was expensive. might become richer or more powerful by using the queens patronage.

what is patronage?
A
God had chosen the king or, in Elizabeth’s case, the queen and as such she had the right to appoint whoever she wished to help her rule the country.

what was the privy chamber?
A
room where Elizabeth spent her private time. often her ladies in waiting would be there to entertain her or help her get change. gave them a chance to be close to her . however she was very controlling of them.
