30
Q

What critical thinking point did Gamaliel make during the meeting regarding the disciples and how does this point give validity to Christianity/the Gospel?

A

He insisted for the disciples not to get killed because he thinks they will fall on their own, unless they are being empowered by God. If that’s the case, the Romans have no chance because they would be going against God in which they have no chance. It validates Christianity because the church has endured so much persecution, yet it still exists to this day.

31
Q

How did the disciples respond to the persecution they faced after leaving the Sanhedrin? What can we learn from them?

A

They rejoiced and they still continued to minister despite the threats. We can learn that even though there is that danger of facing persecution, we should keep preaching the gospel regardless.
