Terms and meaning from Dictionary of Tariff and Customs Terms with organization and functions of the various Offices of the Bureau of Customs.
the price at which the same, like, or similar article is freely offered for sale at the time and place of appraisal, in the same usual wholesale quantity or quantities of goods sold in the ordinary course and trade.
wholesale domestic selling price
an international listing of firms and organizations. Manning agencies, maritime schools, and training centers that completely adhere to the Standard and Training Certification and Watchkeeping convention.
white list
an economic activity involving the exchange of goods in bulk.
wholesale trade
includes imported price, inland transportation cost, advertising, promotion, distribution, interest, wholesaler’s profit, plus stock expenses.
wholesaler’s price
a firm or person engaged in wholesale trading.
wholesaler
a person who operates a device on the deck of a ship to raise. or lower cargoes.
Winchman
sale of goods in bulk by the producer or trader to retailers.
wholesaling
obtained terminology in the Harmonized Rules of Origin that means any of the following: 1. the raw material was obtained in its natural and unprocessed state (original state), 2. waste and scrap in the country of origin, 3. grown and harvested.

a wooden container fastened by wires.
wirebound box
a marine insurance term that means a shipment is protected from partial damage whenever it exceeds a certain minimal percentage. If the ship is involved in a major catastrophe, such as collision, fire or stranding, the minimum percentage requirements are waived and the insurance company pays for all damage.
with average
a Customs document issued by a warehouseman to the operator of a bonded warehouse when raw materials are withdrawn for manufacture.
Withdrawal permit
a condition specified in a negotiable instrument or a bill of exchange, which does not vest right to charge a payee (the person to whom payment is made) if the document is unpaid.
without recourse
a term indicating that a shipper’s agent is empowered to make definite decisions abroad without approval of his principal
without reserve
the original copy of import or shipping documents being processed with Customs, viz., bill of lading, invoice, entry, packing list, inspection report, relevant certificates.
working copy
parts and sub-assemblies in the process of becoming completely assembled components. These items are not considered part of the raw materials inventory and are not included in the finished goods inventory.
