miscellaneous manufacturing bonded
failure of an importer or agent to declare to an import entry the correct tariff heading and tariff duty of a particular import product.
misclassification
failure of a carrier, forwarder or agent to deliver an imported cargo to the consignee specified in a transport document
misdelivery
failure of an importer or agent to state in an import entry or invoice the correct nature, quality, or characteristics of an imported article.
misdeclaration
a false statement or conduct made by one person to another amounting to a false assertion.
order an authority to inspect; observe, or audit a warehouse or premises, where imported raw materials are being stored for eventual export. It also empowers bearer to confiscate contraband found therein.
mission order
cargo varied cargoes carried aboard a ship.
mixed cargo
simultaneous carriage of regulated and exempt commodities in a vehicle.
mixed loads
a quota system which requires that in the manufacture of certain goods, a certain proportion of raw materials from local source should be used.
mixing and milling quota system
a general-purpose crane that can move around a port.
mobile crane
miniature replicas of hotels, airplanes, boats, etc., displayed in show windows of travel agency offices. Also refers to models of women’s wearing apparel imported not for sale, but for use of a manufacturing firm.
