Terms and meaning from Dictionary of Tariff and Customs Terms with organization and functions of the various Offices of the Bureau of Customs.
the facilities used for the carriage of goods, like trucks, trailers, lorries, vans, cranes, fork lifts, and the like.
transport equipment
refers to a railway terminal, freight station, container terminal or yard, multi-purpose cargo terminal, or any similar receiving point.
transport terminal
a profile of the position and/or condition of consignments, goods, and/or equipment, at any point in time or place within the transport chain.
transport status
transfer of cargo form one ship to another, often from an ocean-going vessel to a feeder ship
transshipment
a phrase which means that the goods and/or equipment have been transferred to another means of transport
