the amount by which imports exceed exports.
trade deficit
under the World Trade Organization, it refers to the simplification and harmonization of import and export procedures, transport formalities, payments, insurance, financial requirements, etc.

a proclamation of a state (usually during war or threat of hostilities) prohibiting the entry of her ships or goods to an enemy country.

an agency that coordinates or monitors a country’s trade facilitation system. It reports UN/ECEWP.4 and disseminates information on UN/EDIFACT developments.

a gathering of manufacturers, retailers, and businessmen to showcase their products to potential buyers.

a publication that indicates the firms engaged in various lines of business, their size and area of operations, product line, trade conditions, etc.

an image or logo associated with a brand, which, if duly registered, cannot be copied or reproduced, without permission from the holder.

an organized collective visit to a country to promote trade.
trade mission
includes industrial names and surnames, firms, trade names devices or words used by the manufacturer, industrialist, agriculturist and others to identify them.

as defined by the World Trade Organization, these refer to activities, practices and formalities involved in collecting, presenting, communicating, and processing data required for the movement of goods in international trade.

a profile of quantity, value, and country of destination of traded goods. It gives a general picture of export performance and foreign competition.

a principle contained in Most-Favored Nation (MFN) Treatment clause, which states hat trade must be conducted without discrimination and that contracting parties are obligated to give favorable treatment to each other in the application and administration of import and export duties and charges.
