Terms and meaning from Dictionary of Tariff and Customs Terms with organization and functions of the various Offices of the Bureau of Customs.

tran strainer
a business agreement between buyer and seller.
transaction
for payment of the value added tax, it refers to consignment of goods without realizing sale within 60 days from the date of consignment.
transactions deemed sale
set also known as message, it is a chunk of information in electronic data interchange.
transaction set
the whole system of computer syntax, data elements, formatting, and messages in electronic data interchange.
transaction set standards
the price actually paid or payable and agreed upon by the exporter and importer of goods, and maybe shown by an invoice. The price may include brokerage or selling commission; container and packing costs; assists; royalty or license fee; proceeds from subsequent resale, disposal, used of import goods that accrue to the seller; transport, handing, and insurance costs
transaction value
a documentary credit that can be transferred by the first beneficiary to, another.
transferable credit
an irrevocable letter of credit that allows the first beneficiary to request that the paying bank (or negotiating bank) make the credit available in whole, or in part, to one or more parties (second beneficiary. It is used when the first beneficiary is a middleman and not the actual supplier of the goods being purchased.
transferable letter of credit
cargo carried to one flight or ocean voyage, and then continued by another mode of transport by air or sea.
transfer cargo
an authority to transfer cargoes to a warehouse or premises outside Customs custody, prior to payment of duties and taxes thereon.
transfer permit
cargo that arrives at any port from another inter-island port. It may be transshipped to another inter-island or foreign port
transit cargo
refers to any articles arriving at any domestic port from another domestic port or place and destined for reshipment to foreign port.
transit cargo for export
a manifest that lists all cargoes arriving at any port from another inter-island port.
transit cargo manifest
a marine insurance clause that provides coverage for cargo damage or loss from the time it is transported from the exporter’s warehouse to the importer’s warehouse, or to any other warehouse.
transit clause
a documentary credit issued by a bank in one country (and advised or confirmed by a bank in a second country in favor of a beneficiary in a third country.
transit credit
a carrier service that permits the shipper to stop the shipment in transit (for instance, to perform a function that changes the commodity’s physical characteristics), as long as he pays the freight.
transit privilege
a situation wherein the goods and/or equipment have been delayed in transit.

a building at, or near, a wharf, or pier, for storage of goods in transit, or goods to be shipped into, or discharged from, a vessel. Its front and sides are open.
