Safety Injection(NI) Flashcards

1
Q

What is the purpose of the Safety Injection System?

A
  1. Provides emergency core cooling for loss of coolant accidents that cause primary coolant pressure to drop below the shut-off head of the pumps.

A
  1. NI-120B is normally closed
