Q

How does trigylcerol break down into energy?

A

Gylcerol compound: enters glycolosis like glucose molecules

Fatty acid chains: Enters beta-oxidation where fatty acid chains are shortened. FADH2 and NADH is produced, along with ATP. The final product is acetyl-CoA
