A

Triangle in the back of the head

41
Q

A

On sides of head near parietal bone, connected to coronal suture

42
Q

Temporal bone location?

A

Small ones on side of head

43
Q

Zygomatic process location?

A

Flat one on top of jaw, like a cheekbone

44
Q

Mandibular fossa location?

A

Tinyyyy little arm on cheekboke right above jaw

45
Q

Mandibular condyle location?

A

On the jaw, very top lateral little protrusion

46
Q

External acoustic meatus location?

A

Near temporal bone, little tube for ear

47
Q

Styloid process location?

A

On temporal bone, Little jut out toward the bottom, really close to mandible

48
Q

Mastoid process location?

A

Behind the ear basically. Bottom of skull

49
Q

How can you identify the temporal bone on a transverse section?

A

It’s like in the middle part of the coronal base, not the entire thing but like.. lung-shaped. Top-up, theres little holes and they almost meet in the middle

50
Q

Occipital bone location on a transverse plane?

A

Top-down, it’s the bottom of the coronal base. Top-up, same area around the hole basically

51
Q

How does the sphenoid bone look on a transverse plane?

A

It looks like a bat honestly. But with a little bit above it

52
Q

Sphenoid body location?

A

The part that looks like the bat body

53
Q

Where is the sella turcica?

A

Its on the sphenoid body, from the side it looks like a saddle, from the top-down it looks like a bat head

54
Q

Sphenoid wings location?

A

Greater wings look like actual wings but lesser wing is directly above that, above the ridge

55
Q

Sphenoid bone from a side view?

A

In the middle, it’s kind of shaped like a penis with legs

56
Q

Where are the foramen rotundum?

A

Topmost holes on sphenoid bone

57
Q

Where are the foramen ovale?

A

Middle hold on sphenoid bone

58
Q

Where are the foramen spinosum?

A

Bottom holes (3 in a row, not the lines!!) of sphenoid bone

59
Q

Where is the optic canal?

A

Bat “eyes” on the sphenoid body

60
Q

Superior orbital fissure location?

A

Inner arc of greater wings of sphenoid bone

61
Q

Ethmoid bone location?

A

The 2 lines on anterior cranial fossa

A

Top middle protrusion of ethmoid bone (posterior view)

63
Q

A

Holes next to center of ethmoid bone (both views)

64
Q

Middle nasal concha location?

A

2 middle bottom protrusions of ethmoid bone (posterior view)

65
Q

Orbital plate location?

A

Somewhat rounded ounded outer edges of ethmoid bone (both views)

66
Q

Perpendicular plate location?

A

Base/body of ethmoid bone (posterior view)

67
Q

Side view of ethmoid air cells?

A

Hole in middle-front, right above sphenoid sinus

68
Q

Ethmoid bone side view?

A

Its like the back of the eye sockets? It has a sharp protrusion upwards behind the frontal sinus

69
