A
  1. Menstrual irregularity secondary to oligo- or anovulation
  2. Hyperandrogenism (hirsutism, acne, male pattern baldness, elevated early morning testosterone)
  3. Exclusion of other causes of hyperandrogenism, such as hyperprolactinemia or androgen secreting tumors
