A
  • admin 1-3 hours before meals or at bedtime
  • shake suspension well before admin
  • monitor for hypercalcemia (constipation, anorexia, n/v, confusion)
  • monitor for hypermangensium (CNS depression)
  • use caution with antacids that contain sodium with hypertension or heart failure pt
