Q

What is the maximum demonstrated crosswind for takeoff and landing?

What is the significance of the word ‘demonstrated’?

A

For takeoff and landing, 38knots including gusts.
For NEO and for A321 35knots for takeoff, 38 for landing.

Demonstrated means it is not an Airplane Flight Manual limitation - it is the maximum experienced during certification campaign. Airbus recommends that operators should not intentionally operate in crosswinds that exceed this value

Goes to the APU page. Disappears when the RPM has been above 95% for 10 seconds or when APU master switched off

21
Q

What causes the FLT CTLS SD to appear automatically on taxi out?

A

Either pilot moving the sidestick more than 3 degrees in pitch or roll, or more than 22 degrees on the rudder

22
Q

What causes the ENG SD to be auto called on T/O?

A

First engine to TO power

23
Q

When is the STS SD automatically called (other than in an ECAM drill)

A

Status page not empty and:

29
How does the ALL button work?
Press it to go to the next system page in the sequence. When held down, it cycles through the system pages at 3 second intervals
30
In a single ECAM screen operation, how can a specific SD page be displayed, and for how long?
