Which hydraulic system powers Engine 1 reverser?
Green
Which hydraulic system powers rudder?
All three
Which hydraulic system powers left and right elevator
Left elevator - Green
Right elevator - Yellow
Both - Blue
Which hydraulic system powers THS?
Green and Yellow
Which hydraulic system powers R aileron? Which ELAC?
Green (ELAC 1), then if failed
Blue (ELAC 2)
Which hydraulic system powers normal brakes?
Green
Which hydraulic system powers emergency generator?
Blue
Which hydraulic system powers engine reverser 2
Yellow
Which hydraulic system powers alternate braking?
Yellow
Which hydraulic system powers NWS?
Yellow
Which hydraulic system powers spoilers 2 and 4?
Yellow
Which hydraulic system powers both slats and flaps?
Green
Which hydraulic system powers slats?
Blue (and green)
Which hydraulic system powers flaps?
Yellow (and green)
Which hydraulic system powers landing gear?
Green
Which hydraulic system powers spoilers 1 and 5?

What are the circles on green and yellow hydraulic system on the HYD page on ECAM (just above reservoir)
Fire shutoff valves
What are the square boxes on the ECAM HYD page?
Pumps
On the ECAM HYD page, which way do the arrows point for the PTU?
They point from the ‘normal’ side towards the side with the low pressure
What happens if you press the ENG 1 PUMP pb in the overhead panel? Is it reverseable?
The pump is switched off, so the PTU turns on, and the green system is pressurised using pressure from the yellow system.
It can be reversed by pressing it again
What happens if you press the BLUE ELEC PUMP guarded pb? Is it reverseable?
The blue pump turns off, and as no pressure is available from the PTU, there is a low system pressure ECAM.
It can be reversed by pressing it again
What happens if you switch on the yellow elec pump in flight?
Nothing, as the system is still being pressurised from ENG 2
What can you do if the yellow engine pump fails?
PTU would power yellow system, but yellow elec pump sufficient to power yellow system
Which hydraulic system powers the yaw damper?
Green is yaw damper 1
Yellow is yaw damper 2
Which hydraulic system powers left aileron? Which ELAC?
Blue (under ELAC 1), then if failed
Green (under ELAC 2)
Which hydraulic system powers the park brake?
Yellow
