How do Oral Contraceptives work?
They inhibit ovulation or promote thickening of cervical mucus, or modify the endometrium.
What are some AE’s of Oral Contraceptives?
Thromboembolic disorders, Hypertension, Cancer, teratogenic effects (if taken during pregnancy), and Uterine Bleeding.
