According to Directive 7.15 Information technology Development and procurement Request, It is the policy of the Philadelphia Police Department that the allocation of Information technology (IT) resources, including money, personnel or equipment, must ___________?

According to Directive 7.15 Information technology Development and procurement Request, Upon approval By____________________? , the requesting Deputy Commissioner will be assigned as the Project Sponsor (responsible for ensuring that the necessary department
resources are available to assist in development and implementation) and will appoint a
project manager who will work with IT’s project management to submit the request to
OIT.
The Technology Executive Steering Committee and the Office of Innovation and Technology (OIT)
According to Directive 7.15 Information technology Development and procurement Request, The Police Technology Advisory Committee (PTAC) will take one of the following actions within 30 days of receiving the request:
- Forward the request to OIT to estimate resources and provide a recommendation;
- Return the request for additional information; or
- Disapprove the request, providing the reason.
- Forward a copy of all approved/disapproved requests to the Director, Information
Technology, PHQs Room 206 for retention.
According to Directive 7.15 Information technology Development and procurement Request, Office of Innovation and Technology (OIT) will:
- For an expedited request, provide an estimate of resources and a recommendation
to the Deputy Commissioner, Chief Administrative Officer and the requesting
Deputy Commissioner; or - For a regular request, provide an estimate of resources and a recommendation to
PTAC within 30 days of receipt.
