- Enzyme inhibitor that suppresses the production of prostaglandins and thromboxanes
- Analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory
- cause platelet aggregation, promotes inflammation, pain & fever.

Pharmokinetics of this drug
A
- Its absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract where it is distributed to all tissues of the body.
- In the body it is quickly broke down into salicylic acid where the liver changes it into metabolites and is then excreted by the kidneys
