How can you ensure that clicks and visits match in your AdWords campaign report?
You should expect a difference between AdWords clicks and AdWords visits
A difference between Clicks and Visits in the AdWords reports is to be expected. Any factor that prevents the Google Analytics tracking code from loading on an AdWords landing page will prevent the visit from tracking but will have no effect on click count. Conversely, direct return visits for original AdWords clickthrough will increase visits but not affect click count.
Also, there can be as much as a 24-hour delay on the import of click data, which could also widen the short-term discrepancy with visit data (even though data directly from Google Analytics can also be delayed up to 24 hours potentially).
