How does measles spread?
Droplets from an infected person sneeze or cough
What can people develop if they have measles?
Red skin rash or fever
What is HIV?
Spread if sexual contact by exchanging bodily fluids it can happen if you share needles
What symptoms do you develop from having HIV?
Flu-like symptoms, after that they don’t normally have symptoms for several years
What happens if HIV is not controlled?
Attacks the immune cells
What is the tobacco mosaic virus?
Effects species of plants
What does the tobacco mosaic virus cause?
Leaves can become discoloured, this gives a certain pattern
What do the leaves have less of?
Less chlorophyll to absorb light, less photosynthesis happens so they can’t make enough food
