Arteries branch into the capillaries

A
No they are tiny- too small to even see

What do the capillaries do?
A
They carry blood really close to every cell in the body to exchange substances with them

What are there walls like?
A
They have gaps in there walls, so substances can diffuse in and out

What do they supply?
A
Food and oxygen and take any waste like co2

How thick are there walls?
A
Usually only one cell thick, this means that diffusion is very fast because there is only a short distance for molecules to travel
