Antimuscarinincs
Therapeutic Uses
• General for Antimuscarinics 
o Overactive Bladder associated with Urinary incontinence, Urgency, and Frequency
• Oxybutynin 
   o More antispasmatic (after surgery) and for *children with urinary incontinence 
• Tolterodine
   o Reduce urinary contraction, only for adults
   o More specific M3 antagonist than oxybutynin 
MOA 
- Antagonist to M3 receptor
Adverse Effects (Anticholinderic)
• Dry mouth
• Constipation
• Tachycardia
• Blurred vision
• Drowsiness
Contraindications
• Uncontrolled Narrow angle Glaucoma
• Urinary retention
• Gastric retention

MOA 
- Beta-3 agonist that relaxes detrusor smooth muscle leads to more urinary storage
Adverse Effects
• Headache
• Hypertension
• Nasopharygitis
• Urinary tract infections
Contraindications
• Not well documented
