Sleep Non- Benzodiazepines Therapeutic Indications • Insomnia: short-term 7-10 days MOA - Facilitate GABAA action by Binds specifically to site in α1 subunit of Benzodiazepine site (BZ1) ADE • Headache • Dizziness • Drowsiness • Diarrhea • Risk of rebound insomnia is lower than Benz • Zolpidem (aka Ambien) = Known for causing Sleep Walking, Sleep Driving, etc
