-glycemic control (type1 and 2 DM, gestational diabetes, other DM causes, hospital hyperglycemia during stressful events)
-hyperkalemia-acute tx using regular insulin w/ 50% dextrose IV
ADE
-hypoglycemia
-allergy
-lipodystrophy (prevent by rotating injx sites)
