What is soft tissue rheumatism?
This is a general term used to describe pain that is caused by inflammation or damage to ligaments, tendons, muscles or nerves near a joint, rather than either the bone or cartilage
How will soft tissue rheumatism present?
In cases of soft tissue rheumatism, pain should be confined to a specific site, such as the shoulder or wrist
What should be considered in cases of more generalised soft tissue pain, if soft tissue rheumatism was suspected?
Fibromyalgia
What is the most common location of soft tissue rheumatism?
Shoulder

- Adhesive capsulitis
- Rotator cuff tendinosis
