  • Physical overload - Excessive exercise
  • Seronegative arthropathy
  • Abnormal foot shape
  • Improper footware

A

This is often described as a pain worse after rest, however, it can also be worse after vigorous exercise

This can also cause swelling at the plantarmedial aspect of the heel
