causes vessels to loose elasticity and collagen fibers

red, bloodshot eyes, red and cracked lips and tongue, red and swollen hands and feet, high fever, rash over body

A
anemia, increased WBC/platelets/ESR/CRP

Diagnosis
A
4 or more symptoms, fever for more than 5 days not changed with antibiotics

Treatment
A
IV immunoglobulin, high-dose aspirin, steroids, Tylenol

reduce risk of cardiac complications
