Why do we test generators weekly?
Because gasoline and diesel fuels deteriorate and will eventually cause damage to the engine

What are we testing when we test the emergency generator?
- readiness of the generator
- station alerting system

How full should the emergency generator fuels tanks be?
3/4 full
How long will emergency generators last on a full tank?
2-3 days; depending on the unit.
Stations with no above-ground storage tank (AST)/under-ground storage tank (UST):
How should we fuel them?
With an issued 5-gallon fuel can where the apparatus gets fuel

Should a station contact a city fuel vendor to top off emergency generators?
