At what PSI does the low bottle switch to the higher bottle?
120 psi
When the EBSS is hooked up, which bottle will the users begine to use?
the low pressure bottle first and then they will switch to the higher
At what PSI does the vibralert activate?
1100 psi
When will a vibralert alarm?
- Air cylinder pressure falls below 25% of full (~1100 psi)
- A failure occurs within the primary reducing system
- Buddy Breathing with a user that has less than 1100 psi
- Initially upon opening the cylinder valve, to indicate the system is activated
What connection is considered the RIC connection?
UAC
How does the UAC work?
when connected it equalizes the bottles
What percent does the vibralert go off?
25%
The fit test is required when?
Annually
A weight gain/loss equal to 10% of an employee’s body weight
Facial configuration changes due to, but not limited to, dentures,scarring, reconstructive or cosmetic surgery or pregnancy

If your face piece is providing free flowing air, check that your purge valve did not accidently open. If not, the SCBA has malfunctioned and you should?
1 PARTIALLY CLOSE the air cylinder valve (to regulate and conserve air)
2 OPEN the red purge valve completely (to bypass any regulator malfunction)
3 EXIT the IDLH immediately (consider buddy breathing
