READ FROM LINE 1 TILL MUDDY PUDDLES
gut wrenching
rapid
submerged
negligent
empowering
subservient
A

the train soared through the labyrinth of the decaying railway as the wheels screeched enduring the gut wrenching torture as a result of the rapid jolting of its bulky wheels submerged under the weight of the negligent passengers who were casually depositing the ashes from their mouldering cigarettes out their window, empowering the gentle breeze as it surged the ashes with what seemed like at most maternal care. Then solemnly, concluded by layering each individual piece of ash on the subservient ground allowing it to be soaked into the muddy puddles

READ FROM IRONICALLY CONTRASTING TILL SCORCHING TEA IN THEIR HANDS

A

Ironically contrasting the young girls who were covered in smudged face paint which i vaguely recall being the British flag, ignorantly jabbering away - unbothered of their surroundings. it seemed as if they were cozily home snug away in their pyjamas with a cup of scorching tea in their hands

Q

READ FROM IT SEEMED HARMONIOUS TILL IGNORANT OF MY SURROUNDINGS

A

it seemed harmonious rather too harmonious for my liking..

peculiarly, i perceived an abrupt shift in ambience; an unanticipated callous breeze of wind slapped me in my face. it had a bitter feeling as the high sunlit clouds drifted across the clear blue sky abandoning me with the ominous black clouds; which promptly drifted across the mountains covering the crimson and amber-tinted sky. the impertinent lighting and thunder raged with fury as its abhorrent howling triggered a young girls vociferous shriek, ‘‘MUM’’ her mother embarrassingly screeched back - ignorant of her surroundings

ignorant of my surroundings was something i wasn’t though.

Q

READ FROM MY HEART WAS INCISIVELY FALLING TILL BEYOND SUCH MERE ADJECTIVES

A

my heart was incisively falling. footsteps of the oblivious passengers felt like a heft burden on my heart. in spite of my weary eyes drifting away sluggishly, i managed to capture his furtive aura as he hastily lurked past me. WHO WAS HE?? my peripheral vision then noticed a glimpsing shadow appearing simultaneously in the corner of my eye. Appearing. disappearing . reappearing. over and over again like a flickering candle. then more footsteps - getting much louder and closer. Abruptly there was a sudden silence followed by ; rash screams , sprints , cries , glass shattering . i was surrounded by a monstrous murder. i was not frightened nor was i afraid. what i felt was beyond such mere adjectives.

Q

READ FROM WE WERE HIJACKED TILL HE WAS INSATIABLE OFF

A

we were hijacked. and i was at deaths door. he met her gaze and waited for her glazed over eyes to move. They didn’t . She just slumped in the corner bathed in blood like an abandoned art piece. his eyes wandered down her face and stopped at her throat. A ferocious grin smiled so ferally on his jubilant face . The slash across her throat seemed to have more life than her listless gaping mouth - it taunted him. He could forever analyse and examine his masterpiece which he was insatiable off.

Q

READ FROM HE SWALLOWED TO WHISPERED DIVISIVELY

A

He swallowed and slowly began to survey the rest of her body . the blood had cascaded like a waterfall in front of her body and gathered in a small pool. her arms and legs were bent in an awkward angle as though she was a maisonette that had been carelessly dropped. he took deep breathes critiquing his perfection. her body was devoid of the grace it once knew . he looked away . she was no longer the delight to the man she once was, she was now just a routine corpse. ‘‘Whos next’’ he whispered divisively
