- Caution due to adverse effects: sedation, dizziness, confusion
- Do not give under 4 years old
- Caution in 4-6 years old
- Non-drug measures: oral fluids, humidification, control exposure to smoke, allergens, and irritants, wash hands

- Renal and hepatic impairment
