MOA of antimuscarinics for urinary incontinence

A
    • competitive inhibitors of ach on musc receptors
  • contraction of SM bladder is usually parasympathetic . so blocking - relaxes the bladder, increasing capacity.
  • antagonism of m3 receptors - main in bladder
  • solifenacin more selctive for m3r so less SE
