- few systemic effects
- local; blurred vision, conjunctival reddening (hyperaemia), ocular irriatation and pain
- eye colour - brown due to increasing melanin in stromal melanocytes of the iris

cautions for PGA eye drops prescription
A
- when lens is absent (aphakia)
- artifical lens (pseudophakia)
- those at risk of iritis, iveitis or macular oedema
- in asthmatics; theoretical isk of bronchoconstriction but rare in practice. less concern than with BB

when should you use latanoprost eye drops
A
- evening. remove contact lenses. and reinsert after 15mins if wearing

why should patients press the medical canthus (nasal corner) after eye drops
A
- reduces drainage through alcrimal duct. = lower systemic absorption of the drug.
