Metabolites stronger against mew receptors.

10% caucasions have less active metabolising enzyme = cyp 2D6 - ineffective for them.

Tramadol = synthetic analogue of codeine with koderate strength. It also affects serotonorrgic and adrenergic paths where it acts as SNRI
