Clinical presentation for pts required for TSA

A
  • Impaired ROM
  • Lack independence w/ functional mobility and ADLs
  • Severe pain (unremitted w/ failed conservative treatment)
  • Usually 55-70 y/o from OA
  • 40-50 from dislocation or avascular necrosis

A
  • Isometric exercise ~3 weeks post-op
  • PROM/AAROM 6 weeks
