What is bicipital tendonitis?
A
- Inflammation of the tendon of the long head of the biceps
- Repeated abduction and ER can irritate the area, producing inflammation, edema, microscopic tears and degeneration

Clinical presentation of biceps tendonitis
A
- Deep ache directly in the front and top of the shoulder
- Ache may spread into bicep
- Rest relieves pain
- Positive Yergason’s or Speeds
