  • Full use of UE and hip flexion, adduction, and knee extension

  • Sexual dysfunction
  • Non-reflexive bladder
  • Need for a bowel program
  • Flaccid paralysis below level of lesion
  • Risk for pain, UTI, muscle contractures, and pressure sores

  • TLSO for bracing initially
  • ROM, strengthening
  • Endurance activities
  • Bed mobility
  • balance training
  • Transfers
  • Gait training
  • KAFO or AFO one pt has strength to use crutches
