A
Rarely used as an individual supplement.
* Potassium bicarbonate: Found in nature; e.g. fruit, vegetables.
* Potassium chloride: Although inorganic, this form increases HCl production. Only found in tissue salts and celloids.
* Potassium citrate: Readily absorbed and most commonly found in supplemental form.

Toxicity:

Toxicity —hyperkalaemia:
* Tachycardia: In doses greater than 15 g daily.
* Cardiac arrest: In doses greater than 18 g day. It is still given as the lethal injection in some parts of America.
