triggered by URTI
purpura
joint pain

renal impairment
recover in 4-6 weeks with supportive care
eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangitis
aka Churg Strauss
high eosinophils
lung + skin probs (can present as severe asthma)
microscopic polyangitis
renal failure
can have lung features
granulomatosis with polyangitis
nose bleeds
crusty nose secretions
hearing loss
sinusitis
saddle shaped nose
cough + haemoptysis
glomerulonephritis
polyarteritis nodosa
assoc with hep B
livedo reticularis
Kawasaki disease
under 5 years old
fever 5+ days long rash bilat conjunctivitis skin peeling strawberry tongue
treat - aspirin + IVIG
can get coronary artery aneurysms
Takayasu’s arteritis
affects aorta
‘pulseless disease’
under 40 yrs old
claudication, syncope
