What causes bronchiectasis? How?
A
- Post-inflammatory (infection) or obstructive (neoplasm, FB, asthma)
- Recurrent inflammation and fibrosis leads to traction on surrounding walls and dilation

What is progressive TB?
A
- TB spread that can follow directly from primary infection if immunosuppressed (miliary, cavitary fibrocaseous, bronchopneumonia)
- Contrast with secondary TB (reactivation of contained primary TB)
