Cancer and can not spread to other organs
Which marker is used to differenitate between benign and cancer?
CA 125 really high- malignant
But can go up with many things
Risk of malignancy index?
Menstrual x usss x CA125
What present of women present at advances stage of ovarian cancer?
60-80%
Treatment for ovarian cancer?
bevacizumab (targeting VEGF, chemotherapy (carboplatin +/-taxol), surgery
What type of cysts are there?
Follicular cyst and luteal cyst
What percent of all women in UK will be admitted by age of 65 with an ovarian cyst?

What percent of cyst are malignant, surgically managed?
13% in premenopausal and 45% in post menopausal
