CA 125 really high- malignant
But can go up with many things

What present of women present at advances stage of ovarian cancer?
60-80%
Treatment for ovarian cancer?
bevacizumab (targeting VEGF, chemotherapy (carboplatin +/-taxol), surgery
What type of cysts are there?
Follicular cyst and luteal cyst

13% in premenopausal and 45% in post menopausal
Symptoms of ovarian cysts?
Asymptomatic
Pain
Menstrual disruption
Pressure
What length would you allow before reacting?
For premenopausal women- 8cm
Post menopausal- 5cm

Solid
Septae
Bilateral
Free fluid
Gravado 0 Parus 0?
No pregnancies no babies
What can happen after rupture of ovarian cyst?
Peritonitis, but if its mucus cyst the pseudomyxoma peritonei
What does haemorrhage into a cyst look like on an ultrasound?
Bad tv service, mostly in a specific region

Renal vessels
