Why do we use outcome measures?

A
  • Tools can support and inform clinical judgement
  • Enables aclinician to be clear regarding apatient’s problem, plan appropriate goals and treatment
  • Measurescan supportteam communication
  • Canmonitor a patient’sprogress (objectively)
  • Can support planning and decision making
