There is a large gap between male and female participation in sport so campaigns such as ‘This Girl Can’ were made to influence a higher number of women participating in sport.

An established organisation founded for a religious, educational, professional or social purpose.
What are social issues?
Problems that affect many people of a society.
Define inequality.
The unfair situation where resources or opportunities are distributed unevenly across a society.
What are some causes of inequality in sport?
Lack of income, low self-esteem, lack of role models, myths and stereotypes.
