The group meets.
What happens during the storming stage?
Potential conflicts arise as the group fights for positions and status etc.
Explain the norming stage.
The conflicts are resolved, positions are agreed and standards are accepted.
Explain the performing stage of formation.
The team is working together towards one goal.
Define cohesion.
The tendency for individuals to work together to achieve their goals.
Define task cohesion.
The shared commitment among members to achieving a goal.
Define social cohesion.
The attraction between group members and how well the group works with each other.
Define actual productivity
How the team performs on the day.
Define potential productivity
The best possible performance that the team is capable of.
