Train Control ascertains whether the controlling signaller is on duty
If on duty the signal will be placed to proceed
If not on duty metrol will advise the the driver to check the points
If safe to do so Train control will instruct the driver to pass the home signal at stop as per Rule 1 Section 3
Driver and Train Control will exchange names and corporate numbers for recording purposes
Driver will submit an incident report come end of shift

Driver performs cab unattended procedure

Inform metrol ASAP
Incident report
