immunocompromised - it does not usually affect healthy individuals

- the fungi that are a part of our normal flora
- they are normally non pathogenic
THEY EXIST IN OUR:
- saliva
- skin
- digestive system
THESE FUNGI BECOME PATHOGENIC:
- they then cause infections
- these only affect those who are immunocompromised

- this is unicellular

- it causes Candidiasis
- this is a very common infection

- thrush
