What is the purpose of the code of ethics? In adopting the code of ethics, what shall the Board consider? And, what shall they do?

Answer 1

To protect the public interest.
The APA ethical standards and the the professional character of psychological services.
They shall announce and hold public hearings on the subject of adopting the ethics code (to allow public input into the code they develop).
